I hope all of you are enjoying your summer.
I know I have been...Enjoying the days in the sun and in the GW store!! LOL LOL
I just can't seem to stay out of them!
Just look what I found this week...
Are you familiar with Rowe Pottery? I about peed my pants when I spotted this.
And I literally did pee when I saw the asking price...$1.99!!!!
I paid a little more than that for this cast iron pot...$3...
This was something unexpected to find...
Are you familiar with Beaumont Brothers Pottery? The trade mark is BBP on the bottom of their pottery.
I need to start wearing an adult diaper, because with these finds and these prices, I am ruining a lot of panties and pants...Not to mention the embarrassing liquid on the floor!!
Check these out...only $.80 each...

I must really like this piece, because it keeps popping up...Sorry about that!

Another one of my small votive warmers...
Mmmmm! See that yummy DDP in the background? Gotta love that!
Pewter candle sticks...

Speaking of my black shelf...
I am not a fan of the cutout heart, but I have something special planned for covering that. That will be in another post.
It is so difficult to take a picture in a skinny hallway. I have since added all the wooden pegs, and am in the process of hanging goodies on them.
I don't think I have shown you this before...
I snagged this quilt rack at a garage sale for $3!!!
The husband was in charge of the garage sale while his wife was busy on the phone. She wouldn't answer him, so he said that I could have it for $3! I hope he didn't get in trouble!!
Here is the after...
Well that about wraps it up ladies!
I hope all of you are able to get out and garage sale, thrift shop or goodwill shop. Support your local business...and decorate on the cheap!
Until next time...Janene

HI Janine!! your finds are great!!
always enjoy checking out what you find!! that pottery find is awesome!! I really must get to my GW soon, I have probably lost out on some great finds, but people around here usually dont get rid of good stuff like you found!!
thanks again for a wonderful post!!
Jill from NY
So what did you do to get rid of the heart?? The shelf looks great!
Hurry up and show us how you covered that heart! I have 2 or 3 of those shelves and don't know what to do with them because of that cutout.
ugh , I hate heart cut outs. I have a stash of rusty metal stars that I save for such an occasion. Or you can also find plain wooden ones at the craft store and paint them. Either way a star is way better then a heart. WHY MUST THEY cut hearts into everything?
Hey I will make you a deal for your honey pot. You give you me the honey pot and I won't give you a black eye. LOL
OK i have drool on my keyboard!! you scored some awesome prims with awesome prices, Share the love gf!! LOL I am gonna hit the GW today, but i doubt i will find anything that good!
hey, janene! you got some great goodies!
i bought two crocks and won some small pieces from BPP. i posted them on my blog ( i think a couple days ago?).
they are also in the pottery festival this week. i am hoping to pick up some good deals. :)
do you belong to a local freecycle group? check there for pipes. kids needed some a couple years ago for a play and thats where i found them. ;)
WOW! Janene, you sure put me to shame! You always seem to find the best stuff! Mine finds are really hit or miss most of the time. And one of my favorite thrift stores closed, so now we only have one other and the GW. I have to drive to one of the neighboring towns to find the best treasures.
I really love the honey jar and spice bottles, and you did fabulous make-overs on your shelves. I wish I had more wall space to put shelves!
Your posts are always a treat!
Enjoy the rest of your week! :)
Girl, you got a wonderful bargain. I am familiar with Rowe pottery and have several pieces myself. We carry it at the shop where I work.
Great finds Janene!! I have the same Rowe Pottery honey jar and it retailed for 14.OO 15 years ago. Love the little spice jugs too and the pewter candlesticks do look so nice on your shelf. Keep up th good finds. Sherrie
Wow! You found some great stuff at GW, Janine! I never find anything good at mine!
Love the shelf makeover and can't wait to see how you cover the heart!
Take care,
~Kris~
Nice finds! I have a cast iron pot like yours that I got from my grandmothers home when they cleaned it out. I was told it is a welding pot that they put their hot rods in or melted lead. Not sure if it is accurate but could be. Love the pottery! Jayne
I love love love the cast iron pot. Hubby is into cast iron too.
I like Ann's idea with the rusty stars, I will have to remember that for the heart cutouts I want to cover. I wasn't sure what to do to get rid of them!! And I can't wait to see what you do!
Wow! Looks like you hit the jackpot!! Our Goodwill has a quilt rack shelf exactly like yours. They are asking 15.00 for it. Outrageous!!! I'm keeping my eye on it and hopefully they will lower the price. Anywho..thanks for sharing your pictures!!
S-C-O-R-E!!!! Big time!! :)
I love that Rowe piece and I LOVE those pipes......I have been looking all over for some, for my pipe box I made! Lovin the pewter too!

You found a lot of great buys
Great finds Janine! Our GW has squat most of the time.
I have to laugh at all the heart cutouts on everything. I remember when they were the in thing, and everything wood you bought had a heart cutout....lol!!!
I'm sure you have a great way to hide them. Can't wait to see what you do!
Prim Blessings,
Kim
Love that pipe holder and also the pewter candleholders!! I don't know anything about that pottery but it is neat!! I went to GW again today after getting the car out of the shop. Not as much stuff this time but I'll get pictures taken and posted soon!
Brenda
Janene, WOW! You've done a great job this week finding the bargains. The redo on the shelf is great - can't wait to see what you put over the heart. ~Ann
great finds! It's so funny--I saw your quilt rack and my first thought was, "I thought she didn't like hearts." and lo and behold, you mentioned that you will be covering that up! Funny.
Girlfriend, I am so loving your post today! What terrific finds! The Rowe pottery is delightful. I would love to come across something like that.
Can't wait to see how you cover the dreaded heart.......love your primming job.
Wow! Such amazing finds! No wonder you need new undies ;)

Wow! Great finds at your TS and at such awesome prices. Can't wait to see how you hide your heart (LOL). Love the rack that you sent Rondell. I haven't forgot about you, either. I'm getting caught up finally.
Pam
Oh, Janene,
You lucky, lucky girl...the prices on the rowe pottery is just amazing!!!
I don't know if you saw my post today if not stop over because the spice rack is on there:)
Rondell
I can't believe some of the things you find. You must have some doggone great thrift stores. I have been going and going and going to mine and haven't ended up with anything, but a .32 cheese grater (oh hum). Can't wait to see what you are going to do to cover up that cut out heart. There are so many shelves out there and they all have hearts....hmmm, I think we need some stars!
As goes for you peeing your pants...you totally crack me up!!
Hi Janene,
Great finds as always!! I love coming to your blog to see what you get...cause I know that you have the best thrift shops in your hometown!! (You lucky girl!!)
I'm going thrifting with a friend tomorrow and I can't wait...it is in an old rolling skating rink and this place is huge!! Last time I went I found a lot of goodies...hope tomorrow is as good.
Cindy
Janene, you crack me up! Maybe instead of diapers you could just take a "gotta go gotta go
gotta go" pill! LOL You did find some treasures tho. Looks like we are all waiting to see how you cover the 80s heart up! ♥
WOW...you hit the jackpot at the GW store :))) I love everything you got.
Can't wait to see what you will do with the heart cut out. I have a couple of things that have hearts on them and need to cover up but don't know with what yet.
What great finds! I love what you are doing with the quilt rack and I can't wait to see what you cover the heart with. Be sure to post pictures, Dawn

Just dropping by to say hi. I hope you are having a nice week. I love your pottery finds here! They are great!
I'm going to a huge flea market at the end of the month. It's called First Monday in Weatherford, Tx. Wish you were closer, we could go together. bummer.

Donna

Thanks for the blog comment. I love the primitive style of decorating. My house is sorta mix n match, but primitive is my favorite. I have a webshots account, where I post my prim pictures. :) It's under corndoggirl1977 Do you have an account there? I may have even "seen" ya there. :)
